Behind the lens!!!
Hi!! My name is Nicole Hopkins, I specialize in newborn, children, family, portrait photography. I don’t have this special backstory of always dreaming of being a photographer. The more I think back to when I was young and look thru photo albums does kind of explain the love I have but it didn’t have a purpose I would have countless random pictures. Fast forwards to the middle of my 20’s, I use to barrel race a lot. It never failed the photographer would miss me at the event. So I plunged and bought my first camera with not a lick of knowledge. I also taught a friend how and when to capture just right. I enjoyed both riding and photographing but it quickly expanded when I learned more.
Since I was in high school I knew I wanted to have children and I connected better with them then adults. This is where things started to make sense, I knew I wanted a career with children but truthfully I hated the thought of going back to school. I quickly ventured into newborns and children photography. I love creating all the sets of mini sessions in the studio. This is where my passion is, newborns create the most challenge and I hear it all the time , “you have such good patience with them, I never could”. I strive for these moments and take my time no matter from newborn to adults and giving you memories to cherish for the rest of your life!
